Skating India Expedition is a program of roller skating to be performed by a young skater from India Gate to Gateway of India organized by Self Help Children Foundation Self Help Children Foundation is an NGO working for the welfare of the children, women and many other social activities for the society at large. This Rally is being organized along with Women and Child Development Ministry and other NGO'S for the social cause.

The aim is to create awareness by bringing awakening among the masses regarding the problem of feticides, and follow "Save Girl Child" and "DON'T KILL" Problem of feticides and crime on women is a matter to be seriously looked upon.

Vidhi Khandelwal - 08 years old, from Birla Vidaya Niketan will be joining the rally and given speeches, distributing leaflet to create awareness against female feticides throughout the journey.

Shrestha Gaur - 12 years old, National Skater

Sheshtha Gaur has till date performed around 150 rallies and also have received award from Smt Sonia Gandhi and Smt Sheila Dixit.She is also the speak out person of 2005 of Outlook magazine.

The expedition will be flag off on the 27th January 2008, from India Gate in the early morning hours by our honorable Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Renuka Choudhury and in the presence of other VIP'S.

It is going to be a program of 40 days to reach Gateway of India, 1500 kilometers covering more than 50000 villages, towns, and cities for serving the society with this noble cause in mind. We will be passing through 5 states spreading this message where in the problem of feticides is a real matter of concern.

Rally will be welcomed and the children will be felicitated at their halts by the most prestigious and famous personalities all the trip round. At Gateway of India there will be a grand closure of the rally with all dignified strata of society.

For the safety and security of the participants following arrangements will be made:

Escorted by: two vans, two cars, four bikes, supported by a team of people along with a professional coach. Along with proper first aid and a doctor supported by a physiotherapist.

Require proper lessoning with the local administrations in each and every area.
